It was at the Tractor Boys that Bent would earn himself the reputation of a top goalscorer.At Portman Road, Bent ama sed a brilliant effort of 55 goals in 141 games.It was in 2005 that Bent transferred, having spent four years at Portman Road his goalscoring form caught the eye of rivals Charlton Athletic.Charlton soon snapped up the player in a 3 million deal and Bent continued his goalscoring for the Addicks by totalling 37 goals in 79 appearances. Bents impre sive form for Charlton saw a bid put in by West Ham United in which Charlton Nigel Warrior Jersey accepted, only for the former Ipswich man to reject.Bent eventually agreed to join Tottenham Hotspurs in a deal which saw Spurs club record trumped as the England International was signed for 16.5 million. Bent enjoyed a good start to his Spurs career, but after two years, Bent transferred after falling down the strikers pecking order due to the signing of fellow England International, Peter Crouch.The 25 year old wanted first team football and soon made way to the Stadium of Light for an initial fee of 10 million.Darren Bent signed for Sunderland in 2009 from Spurs.Bent enjoyed a good start to his Sunderland career by notching a goal on his debut then going onto score four goals Steve Largent Jersey in five Premier League games.The 25 year old has so far enjoyed his first season with the Black Cats. His time with the Under-21s saw Bent score eight goals in fourteen appearances. The Sunderland player eventually received a call up to the Senior team when he was attached to Charlton Athletic. One year later and the striker made his debut in a friendly against Uruguay in 2006.After some time out of the Austin Blythe Jersey England first team, Bent went back to the Under 21s but was soon recalled to the senior team for a Euro 2008 qualifier. He appeared as a substitute in Englands 3-2 defeat to Croatia at Wembley, which saw the hosts eliminated from the forthcoming tournament.As the World Cup 2010 Qualifiers came to an end, Bent received another call up against Ukraine.
